Knight Frank Perth has expanded its team with two new appointments to meet growing activity in the commercial property market. Tom Iredell joins the Knight Frank Industrial Logistics Team as an Associate Director, while Jonathan Wong will strengthen the office’s retail capabilities, joining as a Senior Retail Sales and Leasing Executive. Knight Frank Head of WA Craig Dawson said both additions would bring valuable skills, expertise and experience to the Perth team.
Tom brings more than five years’ experience in the commercial property market, having commenced his property career in 2015 as a valuer before transitioning to an industrial sales and leasing role in 2018 with another major property firm.
Jonathan has been working in the WA property market since 2013, in varied roles including as a business development manager, property manager, and sales and leasing consultant.
Knight Frank Head of WA Craig Dawson said both additions would bring valuable skills, expertise and experience to the Perth team, which would benefit clients by enabling Knight Frank to provide the best possible service.
“Tom is highly regarded as a property professional, having established an excellent reputation with a number of key private and institutional owners,” he said.
“With the current increased demand for Industrial property, Tom will be an outstanding addition to the WA Industrial Logistics team, helping to build on our already impressive market share.
“Jonathan is also a valuable addition. He has a genuine passion for retail assets, and his experience has led him to have a wide network of contacts, which will drive our activity in this sector and deliver outstanding results for our clients.
“With our rapidly expanding retail property management portfolio and what we feel is a gap in the WA retail sales and leasing market, we feel the time is right to increase our focus in this sector.”
Mr Dawson said activity in the Perth commercial market had noticeably increased, and as such, an expansion to the Knight Frank team was necessary to cater for demand.
“We expect the remainder of the year to continue to be busy, with plenty of interested buyers and more vendors bringing their properties to the market,” he said.
